Day 2 setting up the deer zone at the tiny house.

In this video Jon and Charles spend day 2 at the off the grid tiny house, in the Ozarks of Missouri. They show you the view from their tree stand, talk about what happen on the morning of their first hunt and talk a bit more about the lay of the land. After the hunt they make some lunch and show off some cool vintage camping gear they found. When it comes to the end of the day Charles is wiped out on the couch, watching Jon carve an off the grid tactical pumpkin, in the tiny house! While watching Jon creat his masterpiece, Charles talks about a cool product they found to use for fuel in their Dickinson wood stove and is then attacked by Princess Frostbite.

We Got Chickens; chicken coop tour

Me and Charles just purchased our first three chickens last week  They are about ten weeks old and full of attitude. In this video I show you a full tour of the chicken coop I purchased online, the modifications we made and the chickens themselves.
The reason we decided to get chickens is because we want to start homesteading and move towards being completely self sufficient and self reliant on what we can raise and grow in our own back yard.  Our chickens will produce about 700 eggs per year which is more than enough for the two of us.
